It is a great pleasure as well as an honour for me to announce that the 59th International Congress of European Society for Cardiovascular Surgery (ESCVS) will be held between the dates of 15-18 April 2010 in Sheraton Cesme Hotel, Izmir, in conjunction with the 6th Congress of Update in Cardiology and Cardiovascular Surgery (UCCS) organized by Heart and Health Foundation of Turkey (HHFT).

All participants who registered for only 59th ESCVS International Congress can also get free registration for the 6th Congress of Update in Cardiology and Cardiovascular Surgery. Abstracts for the ESCVS International Congress will be published in Interactive CardioVascular and Thoracic Surgery Journal. All authors with accepted abstracts are strongly recommended to submit the full manuscript of their work to the Interactive CardioVascular and Thoracic Surgery Journal, the ESCVS official journal.

European Board for Accreditation in Cardiology The 6th Congress of Update in Cardiology and Cardiovascular Surgery in conjunction with 59th ESCVS International Congress is accredited by the European Board for Accreditation in Cardiology (EBAC) for 24 hours of External CME credits. Each participant should claim only those hours of credit that have actually been spent in the educational activity. EBAC works according to the quality standards of the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME), which is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS).”
