The official language of the congress is English. Simultaneous translation will
be provided from English to Turkish and vice versa
Registration and Information
Services
The registration and information desks will be located at the reception of
congress center and will be operating between 07.30 and 22.00 hours.
Registration fees cover access to the scientific sessions, the industry exhibits
and the congress documents (Programme Book, Certificate of Attendance, Congress
briefcase and badge). Participants who have not previously registered will be
able to complete their registration formalities at "On-Site Registration Desks".

Beside the congress venue Sheraton
Hotel, several hotels have been reserved for the participants. For further

Congress Venue
Sheraton Hotel & Convention Center is located at Çeşme which is one of the
mesmerising places of Turkey. Beside its natural and amazing location, it also
offers premium service with its luxury decorated rooms and facility areas to the
guests.
Sheraton Hotel & Convention Center which is one of the most prominent congress
venues has been selected as the congress venue. Sheraton Hotel & Convention
Center has hosted many prestigious congresses up to now, and offers numerous
facilities to both individual participants and participating companies.
Certificate of Attendance
Certificate of attendance will be presented to all registered attendants.
Badges
Badges will be distributed at the registration desks. Participants without
badges will not be admitted to the congress activities.
Speaker's Ready Room
The Speaker Ready Room will be located at the Congress Venue and will be
operating during the congress, with its high technology equipments.
Gala Dinner
Gala dinner will be held on 17th of April at the Sheraton
Hotel. The fine dining menu including unlimited drinks (alcoholic and non
alcoholic) will be served. The capacity is limited.

Transfers
Premium transfer service from Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport to the hotels
shown on the web site and vice versa will be provided for the participants upon
request. Terms and conditions are shown on the accommodation page.
Shuttle Service
Daily shuttle service from the congress venue to the hotels shown on the web
site and vice versa will be provided for all the participants. Schedule will be
announced before the congress.
Driving License
International Driving Licenses are recognized throughout Turkey. Car rental
companies ask for a valid driving license. For your requests please contact us.
Passport and Visa
Every foreign visitor entering Turkey must possess a valid passport.
Participants from countries requiring a visa for entry to Turkey are strongly
advised to make their applications in their home countries at least one month
before the intended date of travel.

Banks and Currency Exchange
The currency is the Turkish Lira (TL). Foreign currency can be exchanged at
the airport or the front desk of your hotel. Local banks are open from 08.30 to
17.00 hrs from Monday to Friday. There are also private foreign exchange offices
throughout the city that operate between 08.00 to 20.00 hrs.
Credit Cards
All major credit cards (Visa, Master Card) are accepted in Turkey by
restaurants, hotels, shops and at the Congress Registration Desks.
Climate
In April the weather is usually mild in Izmir. The average high is 22°C and
the average low is 18°C. Evenings could be chilly and delegates are therefore
recommended to bring light coat.
Electricity
The current in Turkey is 220 volts 50Hz. Please contact the reception desk
for available converters.
Internet Cafe-Information Center
Internet Cafe and Information Center will be available to all participants
during the congress between 08:00-18:00.
Insurance
The meeting organizers cannot accept liability for personal injuries
sustained or for loss of or damage to property belonging to Congress
participants (or their accompanying persons) either during the congress meetings
and postcongress activities. Please obtain proper travel and health insurance
prior to your trip.
Tipping
Tipping is not mandatory in Turkey. However it is customary to add 10% in
restaurants if you are satisfied with the service.
Telephones
Pay phones are available at the conference center as well as in the city.
Phone cards are widely available in shops.
