Soccer Tournament

Organised by Heart and Health Foundation of Turkey, 6th Congress of Update in Cardiology and Cardiovascular Surgery (UCCS) will be held between the dates of 15-18 April 2010 in Sheraton Cesme Hotel, Izmir, in conjunction with the 59th International Congress of European Society for Cardiovascular Surgery (ESCVS)

Cardiologists and Cardiovascular surgeons in Turkey will come together with very important names from international level from their branches this year. We believe that a congress is not just running from session to session also meeting with new people, building friendships and a little relaxing. For that aim, in order to warm up the meeting between participants, bring closer our colleagues from Cardilogy and Cardivascular Surgery we add a football tournament into the social events of the congress. Believing this power of the sports and the the thought of “The ball is round” we are waiting your participations to this entertaining organization.

Tournament Regulations:
1st Update in Cardiology and Cardiovascular Surgery Football Tournament will be made on elimination method at synthetic pitch. All applicant will have to take part at the tournament. Teams of 6 will be formed (5 player + 1 goalkeeper) by the applications. The teams that came together with 6 player will join to the tournament directly. Matches will be played on Thursday, 2 halfs of 25 minutes. There is no substitution limit.

Local and international teams will be joining to the tournament. These teams will be formed by Cardiologists and Cardiovascular surgeons and the final will be played between these groups.

Prices:
The team came in first will be rewarded. The award ceremony will be during the Gala Dinner. All players will receive participation certificates. There is no substitution limit.

Participation Fee:
There will be no participation fee for the tournamant. Please send your application via email to izberk@interium.com.tr

Teams should fill the forms completely. After being confirmed by interium teams’ participation to the tournament will be confirmed.

Players without a team may apply to the tournament personally. Applications will be evaluated by the organisatiın and players will take part in a team.

All player are obliged to have their IDs available dıring the tournament. If it’s considered necessary ID control will be made before the matches. Teams having fake players will be unqualified from the tournament. Objections regarding the unqualification will not taken into consideration.

Medical checkups of the team members before the tournament will be under their responsibility.

Matches will be made at the mentioned dates and hours. If a change occurs team captains will be notified.

Organisation firms reserves the rights to make any changes about the tournament.
